Calling all Colorado students!
DSST Public Schools is excited to announce a series of two weekly STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) focused challenges in partnership with leading Denver institutions to provide local students with creative and fun learning opportunities to supplement their new online learning environments.
Each week, CBS 4 Denver will announce the challenge and Colorado students in elementary grades (K-5), middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12) will be invited to submit a project by 8AM the following Monday. A group of DSST judges will then determine a winner each Wednesday - who will awarded the week's prize and be highlighted by DSST Public Schools and CBS 4 Denver.
We hope students will have a chance to be deeply engaged in a creative and fun learning process all while trying to win fun prizes.
Thank you to our partners at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Denver Botanic Gardens, CU Teach Engineering, Denver Art Museum, Swallow Hill Music, and the Denver Zoo for sponsoring awesome prizes each week for our #DSSTProjectCreate winners!
