We know you'll love our school.

Our school year has started virtually and with that, all of our schools visits (both webinars and tours) will be accessible exclusively online. As a network, we are choosing to view this challenging moment as an opportunity. It’s an opportunity to live our values, to use technology in new ways and to foster innovation and creativity. Our commitment to our students remains unwavering, even during this difficult time.

So what exactly should you expect in the webinar and tour?

Webinar

In the webinar, you will watch a pre-recorded presentation from a school leader. You will learn about academic programming, school culture and our Core Values, extracurricular opportunities, and how each school will support your student to achieve their dreams.

Tour

On a virtual tour, you will view our community spaces, classrooms, and other key points in our building. You will learn about each space as you virtually explore our school building.

We understand the desire to see our school in-person, and if that opportunity becomes available, we will notify everyone who has viewed our virtual visit materials.  So, we encourage you to sign up below to receive digital school visit materials in your email inbox!

To view the tour or webinar, please fill out the form to the right.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Close, caring relationships are at the heart of our approach and our school culture intentionally fosters strong relationships. We prepare students for college, with an emphasis on developing students through liberal arts learning (reading, writing, mathematics, and science). Students succeed through classroom environments that are structured for success with clear academic and behavioral expectations, and flourish in our many extracurricular activities and athletic programs. The Conservatory Green team is proud to bring the DSST promise—to prepare ALL students for success in college and the 21st century—to our families.

DSST: Conservatory Green is Denver's #1 Performing High School and is Rated Blue, Distinguished - the highest possible rating in Denver Public Schools School Performance Framework!

OUR PROGRAM

In the 11th and 12th grade, students also have the chance to engage with college coursework through AP classes. DSST is committed to not just offering AP courses, but to ensuring that students will be successful on the AP exams in order to earn college credit. Courses currently offered are AP US History, AP Calculus (AB & BC), AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, and AP Spanish.

Our small school setting allows teachers and students to develop and nurture close relationships to create an inclusive, strong community and a culture where every student is valued for both who they are and their successes.

PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS

In the 11th grade year, all DSST students participate in a 10-week long internship. The intention of the internship program is to give students an opportunity to explore different career paths and apply the learning they’ve done in classes to a real-world job. Each school has an Internship Coordinator, who is responsible for finding organizations and matching them with student interns based on the student’s interest. Students have been placed at organizations like the Denver Zoo, Atlas Physical Therapy, Mike Johnston for Colorado, and Teach for America, among others.

Internships take place during the school day, in place for an elective for one trimester of the year.

SENIOR PROJECT

In the 12th grade year, all students will complete a Senior Project, intended to synthesize learning from their experiences throughout their time with DSST to culminate into a final, long-term project.

DSST Public Schools participates in the DPS SchoolChoice enrollment process and all admissions to DSST Public Schools are coordinated through the lottery process.
