We know you'll love our school.
Our school year has started virtually and with that, all of our schools visits (both webinars and tours) will be accessible exclusively online. As a network, we are choosing to view this challenging moment as an opportunity. It’s an opportunity to live our values, to use technology in new ways and to foster innovation and creativity. Our commitment to our students remains unwavering, even during this difficult time.
So what exactly should you expect in the webinar and tour?
In the webinar, you will watch a pre-recorded presentation from a school leader. You will learn about academic programming, school culture and our Core Values, extracurricular opportunities, and how each school will support your student to achieve their dreams.
On a virtual tour, you will view our community spaces, classrooms, and other key points in our building. You will learn about each space as you virtually explore our school building.
We understand the desire to see our school in-person, and if that opportunity becomes available, we will notify everyone who has viewed our virtual visit materials. So, we encourage you to sign up below to receive digital school visit materials in your email inbox!

Enrollment at Aurora Science & Tech is managed through an independently run lottery. Interested families will complete an online-only application, which is open from January 15-February 16.
If there are more applications submitted than seats available, a waitlist will be created. Applicants who submit their application after the application deadline will be added to the waitlist in order of priority.
Families that are placed at Aurora Science & Tech in the lottery will be notified of admission after the lottery is run and asked to confirm their intent to enroll.
Priorities exist within the randomized lottery. The priorities for admission are as follows, in order of priority:
- Siblings of current AST students (this will apply after we have our first grade of students)
- Residents in the Aurora Public Schools (APS) district
- Residents not in the Aurora Public Schools district
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
The DSST Network launched its 9th Campus and 1st school in Aurora, Colorado in 2019-20 - Aurora Science & Tech! Our school will serve 6th graders in its 1st year and build out to 6th-8th grade in 2022.
Aurora Science & Tech will be a school where close, caring relationships are at the heart of the school experience, and our school culture will intentionally foster strong relationships. We will prepare students for college, with an emphasis on developing students through liberal arts learning (reading, writing, mathematics, and science). Ultimately our goal is to ensure that our future students are prepared for college, career and life.
We have chosen the Great Horned Owl as our mascot because owls represent wisdom, forward-thinking, and integrity. Owls are nocturnal and have amazing eye sight and aerodynamics. If we're lucky, we'll see some Great Horned Owls from our school.
